Cafe Au Lait
Andrew Davis, Cafe Au Lait’s guitarist, has been a music educator for the better part of 4 years. Baton Rouge Music Studios has supported and encouraged his efforts to get kids fired up about music! This campaign is intended to raise the funds necessary for Baton Rouge Music Studios to relocate and fund the build out of a larger facility that will house multiple lesson rooms, a professional recording studio with two sound controlled booths, AND a performance venue! Securing this space will get us one step closer to refining our curriculum and business systems into an educational package we believe could be franchised to music academes across the nation.

The Black Arts Film Festival to be held at the LSU Digital Media Center on April 24, 2014 at 6pm. The Black Arts Film Festival is an event put on by the Black Artist Initiative at Louisiana State University that showcases several short films and documentaries by directors and videographers from all over Louisiana. There will be several genres ranging from comedy to documentary. The purpose of this event is to highlight and showcase local cultural talent throughout LSU and the Louisiana area in the form of film and media.
We want to capture the essence and importance of diversity in film, creativity, and culture here at LSU. The event will include a red carpet section capturing formal wear, and a viewing of each film in the DMC theater.
We welcome you to attend and be apart of this experience.
