Clif Saint Laurent

Cliff Speaks; Crowd smiles

Close your eyes and imagine hearing the chill inducing purity of Donnie Hathaway’s timbre, the sultry, sexy tone of Brian McKnight, riffs and runs reminiscent of vocal stylists such as Etta James, Stevie Wonder, and Kim Burrell accompanied by the star-stunned charisma and captivation of greats such as Diana Ross, the powerhouse capabilities and endurance of Whitney. Top that with the eye-catching, heart-pumping, leaving you wanting more, energetic performances of Patti, Ottis, Teddy, and Levert… and you’ve got “The St. Laurent Experience!”

Clif St. Laurent is a classically trained vocalist who offers more than just a pretty voice, but an amazing show! Don’t be surprised if you look away for one moment only to turn your attention back to the stage to find he’s not there but rather at your table serenading you or even lying on the floor telling an emotional story!

Born and Bred in Baton Rouge, Clif got his start in the music business at a very early age singing in church choirs where his mother and mentor served as minster of music. Once she noticed that he shared her talent for music, she quickly put him to the forefront and began to nourish and groom his gift. He began to study voice with several renowned vocal coaches at the age of 7 and not long after she put him in piano lessons as well. By the age of 12 he was performing background vocals for several award nominated and award winning Gospel heavy weights and by 17 his solo career would begin. In addition to his musical talents, Clif is also a gifted and trained Actor, Dancer/Choreographer, Songwriter/Composer, producer, and soon to be Author.

For over a decade now, Mr. St. Laurent has been gracing stages all over the United States and the best is yet. He’s is a former American Idol Contestant (Season 10) whose goal as a musician is to get back to the time when “music was music”; a place where people of multiple generations and different cultural backgrounds could dance and sing along together. He plans to do this by inspiring his listeners lyrically while enticing them with his silky smooth sounds and relatable experiences.

Some call him “Treble Clif” while others call him “CreoleBoi” but no matter what they call him, he’s easily recognizable by that great smile and 2½ octave range. Get the St. Laurent experience and expect to be more than entertained but rather to become a part of the entertainment. You don’t want to miss Clif St. Laurent, cher!
